The charging network is due to be completed before the end of 2014 and will see 74 rapid chargers installed across 684miles with links to five seaports and five major airports. It will run on two priority road axes taking in cities such as Birmingham, Leeds, Kingston-upon-Hull, Liverpool, Holyhead, Felixstowe and Stranraer. There will also be connections with existing networks in both Dublin and Belfast.
